Research-and-innovationMalta is fast establishing itself as a centre of excellence in matters of research, technology and innovation. Increasing interest is being registered by both local and international researchers and professionals on a number of R & I projects evidencing a close collaboration of academia and industry.

A number of projects are presented as proposals for funding on an annual basis via the Malta Council for Science & Technology which is the government body responsible for research policy, promoting scientific research, management of the local research funding programme and is the national contact point organisation for the EU Research Framework Programme.
